Firetainment Inc. was founded in Orlando, Florida by Kevin Fulp and Shawn Clark in November 2010. Kevin has 25 years experience owning and operating a successful countertop manufacturing company in Central Florida. Shawn has an extensive mechanical engineering background specializing in large industrial plants. The two friends sitting together in front of an fire pit began talking of how nice it would be to have a fire table they could sit comfortably at, enjoy the captivating fire, relax with friends or family, and cook healthy food in a home environment. Shawn said that sounds like “Firetainment” and suddenly the sparks started to fly and a business was born. The ideas for fire table cooking ignited and the synergy with their skill sets and resources were apparent. After hundreds of fun filled hours of fire table cooking, what they call Firetaining, and collaborations with professional designers and chefs they developed a product that is now the envy of any patio or back yard.
